Licensure Renewal for the 2010-2012 Biennium

N.C. G.S. § 90-270.14(a) requires that a license to practice psychology must be renewed on or before October 1st in each even numbered year.  However, there is a grace period of 60 days (following October 1st until November 30th) in which a license may be renewed by paying an additional late fee of $25.  Please review the Biennial License Renewal Instructions before completing your renewal application. 

If applying for licensure renewal, the following materials are required by October 1st:

• completed Renewal Application Form, including attestation that continuing education requirements have been met during the biennial renewal period from October 1, 2008 to October 1, 2010 as required by Rule .2104 of Title 21, Chapter 54 of the North Carolina Administrative Code; 
• completed Supervision Report(s), if licensed as a Psychological Associate or provisional Psychologist; 
• $200.00 renewal fee. Please note that the fee must be remitted in the form of a money order or check made payable to the North Carolina Psychology Board; cash, credit/debit cards are not accepted.

A postmark, but not a metered date or tape, will be considered sufficient in meeting the October 1st deadline.
